The 2024 Cadillac XT5 comes with two different powertrains. The Luxury and Premium Luxury trims are equipped with a turbocharged 2.0L four-cylinder engine that generates 235 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque, but there's also the option for a 3.6L V6 engine (standard on the Sport trim) with 310 horsepower and 271 pound-feet of torque. Both engines feature a nine-speed electronically controlled transmission with overdrive and driver shift control technology. The standard front-wheel drive system has a fuel economy of around 22 MPG, but all-wheel drive is also available with up to 21 MPG of fuel economy. An optional chassis damping control system adjusts the suspension every five milliseconds based on current road conditions to enhance the handling of your vehicle.

Interior and Exterior Design

The 2024 Cadillac XT5 features a bold and sophisticated design, marked by sharp lines and a distinctive black grille. Standard features include a rear spoiler, intelligent automatic LED headlights, daytime running lights, bright brushed aluminum roof rails, and 18-inch alloy wheels with a bright silver finish. Active aero shutters close at higher speeds to improve the aerodynamics of your vehicle. The interior cabin has a dual-zone automatic climate control, heated and power-adjustable front seats, premium Inteluxe seating surfaces, and an eight-speaker Bose premium audio system. The rear cargo area holds approximately 63 cubic feet of equipment, with all rear seats folded down.

Technology and Safety

The 2024 Cadillac XT5 features an immersive 8-inch touchscreen display with 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot, SiriusXM satellite radio, and Android Auto and Apple CarPlay integration, all standard. Remote start and keyless open technology give you easy access to your vehicle, with temperature conditions already set to your preferences before you even arrive.

The XT5 has more than 20 advanced safety and driver assistance features.

Forward collision alert warns when a collision is about to occur up ahead.

Lane keep assist and departure warning prevent you from accidentally drifting outside your lane.

Front pedestrian braking prevents accidents with pedestrians at speeds of up to 50 MPH.

Front and rear park assist helps to facilitate precise and accurate parking; an alert also appears when you're close to an object.

A following distance indicator displays the following time with the vehicle in front of you.

An HD rear vision camera displays the area behind you when reversing.

Rear cross-traffic alert and lane change alert with side blind zone alert are only found starting on the Premium Luxury trim.

Adaptive cruise control, reverse automatic braking, and enhanced emergency braking are all part of the optional driver assist package.
